Guest Reviews & Ratings
My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The rooms are modern and comfortable, equipped with everything you need, including a Keurig and a lap working plateau. The staff provided excellent service with attention to detail, especially from the car rental desk in the lobby. The location is superb, just two blocks away from the boardwalk and near historic sites. The dining experience, mainly due to the included breakfast, was satisfactory. The facilities are top-notch with a well-maintained pool area.
The hotel has a partial view of the harbor from the rooms and is conveniently located close to downtown Halifax. The staff provides good service overall, but there were some minor issues with room keys and missed cleaning. The dining experience offers a good selection of food and is considered an excellent value. The facilities are well-equipped with a mini market on-site.
The hotel is well located close to the Citadel, offering spacious rooms with a lovely view of the harbor. The service was very welcoming and helpful, although there were instances of unhelpfulness. The location is convenient for exploring Halifax downtown and accessing shopping areas, with easy walking access to various attractions. The dining experience was mostly excellent with a few disappointing elements. Overall, a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.
I had the pleasure of staying at this property twice due to its spacious rooms with a king-size bed and incredible view of the Citadell. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, making my stays enjoyable. The only downside was the inconvenience of being restricted to the 3rd floor during one visit.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable, the size didn't match the pictures, and there was a lack of shampoo initially. The service was overwhelmed during check-ins and check-outs, but the staff members were excellent overall. The location was convenient for sightseeing downtown but had some issues with refunds and hotel ambiance. The dining options were standard with some quality concerns, and the facilities were average.
The hotel has beautiful and large rooms that are way smaller than in the pictures. The service was quite good overall, although I had a bit of confusion with the parking arcade entrance. Location-wise, it is excellent for touring downtown Halifax, especially once you discover the convenience of the pedway. The dining experience offered a standard breakfast but nothing extraordinary. Despite minor drawbacks, the hotel holds a great location and is ideal for exploring the city.
